2013 – The Beginning
The task of ensuring these jobs were compliant to OFGEM standards was led by Paul Arthur, Yorkshire Gas & Electrical were able to design its own software to handle the work load ensuring that overheads were kept low by not paying out for expensive customer management software, thus ensuring all resources available were spent where it mattered most, inside our customers homes. By the end of those first three months Yorkshire Gas and Electrical were installing around fifteen jobs per week into homes in Bradford and Halifax.
2014 – Expansion
During this period Yorkshire Gas & Electrical were tasked with completing a large contract from EDF. Meeting this contract with high quality installs and paperwork exceeding the standards of most installers put Yorkshire Gas & Electrical on the radar of many large providers and energy companies. The sheer size and logistical challenge of the large contract meant that having the office and the storage facilities at seperate locations was proving too laborious. It was time to look for a large facility in the heart of Bradford.
2015 – The Success Continues
Yorkshire Gas & Electrical now employ over 30 members of staff and are able to maintain 40-50 boilers per week. This allows Yorkshire Gas & Electrical to invest in training for staff taking on new team members and increase their reach across South Yorkshire, Lancashire and West Yorkshire.
2016 – Diversification
2016 saw Yorkshire Gas & Electrical launch many new services such as pay monthly finance boilers, smart metering, utility renewals whilst still delivering free ECO boilers for customers across Yorkshire and Lancashire.
